I do recall heated debates as a teenager over plenty of pointless things like how Star Wars was cooler than (i.e. not nearly as geeky as) Star Trek, how Radiohead’s OK Computer was a perfect album, why I just couldn’t “relate” to Reality Bites or Friends...
...But whether bays were better than rainbows? Apparently this debate has been raging over at the U.S. Geological Survey, and they’ve posted a survey to bring the issue to a wider audience:
I was a teenager once and I remember how frustrated I would get when other people didn't seem to care about my opinions. I can imagine how upset you get when you want to tell someone what your favorite body of water is, but no one will listen!What I learned? Bays are so not hip!
